The primary use of the Purdue Light Sensing circuit is to provide a simple circuit board, typically used in an instructional environment, as a teaching tool for primary introduction to circuit boards and their functions. Through the application of soldering parts onto a circuit board, including Resistors, LEDs and Photocells, and applying a voltage source, the board provides a tool to teach / learn how a circuit board works.
