The Handy Board is a robotics controller intended for use in educational, hobbyist, and industrial robotics projects. The Handy Board uses the Motorola 6811 microprocessor, 32K of battery-protected RAM and circuitry to operate 4 DC motors. The board was created with our Douglas CAD/CAM Professional System software by Fred Martin of MIT.
Fred had Douglas build the original Handy Board prototypes, and has since authorized us to distribute handy boards from his design as part of our breadboard product line, which means that we now keep this board in stock, and can sell to experimenters right off the shelf.
